How to find us
We are located in the City Of York, only three quarters of a mile from York Minster, with ample private overnight parking for all our guests. From whichever direction you appproach the City of York, drive around the outer ring road towards the North-East side of York in the direction of Scarborough. Exit on the A1036 (not the A1036 West). Straight into York on the A1036 Malton Road, passing Monks Cross and Heworth Golf Course on the right. The road becomes Heworth Green after a mini roundabout, and the hotel is on the left - just before the pedestrianised centre.

When traveling by car, always use the Outer Ring road, and avoid driving straight into York onto the Inner Ring road. The Inner Ring road runs around the City Walls and is a one-way traffic system which is difficult to negotiate if you are unfamiliar with the streets. By public transport
If you are travelling between London and Edinburgh, the train journey is usually much quicker than by car. York is on the main Edinburgh to London line, and car hire is available in York. All UK train schedules are available at www.railtrack.co.uk

Although the centre of York is within easy walking distance, good public transport is also available in the area, including freephone private hire taxi services and regular bus services:- the Park & Ride shuttle bus service goes straight past the front of the hotel every 15 minutes through the day, and nearby bus stops in East Parade, Heworth Church and Dodsworth Avenue. A coastliner service picks up from Stockton Lane, only two minutes walk.
